Raghu Dharmaraju is an experienced entrepreneur and innovation leader with more than twenty years of experience developing and launching impactful products and initiatives. His expertise is in bridging innovation and social impact, with a deep focus on digital health, med-tech, and agriculture. He has launched and scaled several med-tech innovations that have reached over 300,000 babies through WHO and non-profits, state governments, and private hospitals.

Dharmaraju's AI innovations have garnered critical acclaim for being socially conscious, including the Google AI Impact Challenge winner, and AI XPRIZE semifinalist. As VP - Products & Programs in the founding team of Wadhwani AI, he led the charge in establishing the organization as a unique global player developing AI for social good. He raised $18M from Gates Foundation, USAID and built a portfolio of seven AI innovations, four of which will be deployed soon. Additionally, he has experience in environmental technologies, solar energy, financial inclusion, and circular economy.

He has helped organizations in consulting senior advisor roles and served as COO at Embrace Innovations, advising and leading key operations for the organization. He also contributed as a Selector/advisor for innovation grants and investment programs such as Grand Challenges, Stanford Biodesign, Dept. of Biotech’s BIG (Biotech Ignition Grants), IKP, VentureWell, Berkeley. His roles include innovation portfolio management, early-stage product, go-to-market, business development, strategic partnerships, government relations, fundraising, strategy, operations, and general management.

Dharmaraju holds an MBA in Marketing, Venture Capital, and Sustainable Global Enterprise from Cornell University - S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management, an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a B.Tech in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
