Radu Vilceanu

Radu Vilceanu, an entrepreneur and founder of ContentSpeed since 2001, had a significant milestone in 2021 when Payten, a part of Asseco SEE and the larger Asseco group, acquired a majority stake in ContentSpeed. Asseco is a prominent player in the European IT industry, specializing in core banking software and both offline and online payments solutions.

With a keen entrepreneurial acumen and in-depth knowledge of the software industry, Radu embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in 2000, establishing a foothold by creating custom web-based software for startups and established brands alike. ContentSpeed, under his direction, has flourished to encompass over 30 employees, a turnover exceeding EUR 1.500.000, and a diverse portfolio featuring retail giants such as Sephora, Teilor, Cellini, Diverta, Chicco, as well as B2B brands like Teraplast, Wuerth, Lecom, BladeMotors, and Ravenol.

Radu Vilceanu pursued his Bachelor's degree in Software Development at the prestigious University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest and furthered his education at Colegiul National 'Mihai Viteazul.' Throughout his career, he has held pivotal roles including General Manager at ContentSpeed and a member of Payten, owner of myHost.ro, and a Web Developer - Partner at Rate.ro SRL.
