Rachel Skidmore
Rachel Skidmore is a seasoned entertainment industry executive with an extensive background in content development, production, and artist management. She has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment, where she launched the company's Digital and Emerging Platforms divisions and produced live fan events at various comic-cons across the country. Skidmore was also a pioneer online talent manager at Big Frame, the first management company for internet celebrities.
Skidmore's most recent project is the charity comedy special, Bring Back Laughs, which she produced for Supreme Robot Pictures. The two-night event featured stand-up comedians like Janeane Garofalo and Roy Wood Jr., among others, and aimed to raise funds for Direct Relief amid the pandemic. Skidmore has also produced VR films, including the Sundance breakout film, Dinner Party, and "Gone," the first-ever narrative live-action VR series. She also collaborated on the short-form web series "Release" for Topic Stories, which premiered in September 2020.
With a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Arts from Missouri State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Film and Television Producing from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, Skidmore has a strong educational background to support her industry experience. She is currently a Producer and Consultant at Emotional Confetti.
