Rachel Mayer

Rachel Mayer is a Venezuelan native and a graduate of MIT and Cornell University with a background in Mathematics and Computer Science. She has a keen interest in cryptocurrency, financial markets, and developing innovative products for both consumers and businesses, often taking on leadership roles in entrepreneurial ventures.

Rachel's professional journey includes a stint as an FX and rates trader at JPMorgan, where she was responsible for managing the electronic LATAM markets book. Subsequently, Rachel co-founded and led Trigger, a platform aimed at assisting consumers with rational investment decisions, which was later acquired by Circle in 2017. Following the acquisition, Rachel held various key positions at Circle, overseeing a range of products and teams in areas such as product management, product marketing, growth, and product design.

Rachel's educational background comprises a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from Cornell University, and studies at Moral y Luces.

Throughout her career, Rachel has held prominent roles in esteemed organizations, including VP of Product, VP of Growth and Product Marketing, and Director of Product Management at Circle. Additionally, she has served as the Founder and CEO of Trigger Finance, Trading Associate in Emerging Markets at J.P. Morgan, and worked as a Trading Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan and a Trading Winter Analyst at Lehman Brothers. Rachel has also explored her artistic side as a Recording Artist with Universal Music Group.
