Ravneet Singh

Ravneet Singh is a versatile professional with a strong background in technology, product management, and business growth. With a focus on sports-related ventures, he is currently involved in a project that is kept confidential. Ravneet is known for his hands-on approach in technology, strategic thinking in product development, and a keen eye for business expansion. He has a diverse portfolio of experience in creating innovative tech solutions for various industries such as Ed-Tech, E-commerce, Finance, and News Media. His expertise lies in revitalizing products and driving significant growth, often starting from the ground up with young and dynamic teams.

During his tenure as the Director of Engineering at Vedantu, Ravneet headed the Mobile division, demonstrating his leadership skills and technical acumen. Prior to this role, he led the technology department at Zaggle, an online retail platform. Additionally, he ventured into entrepreneurship early in his career by founding his startup, Bucker, during his undergraduate years, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and drive for innovation.

Ravneet embarked on his academic journey at IIIT Hyderabad, focusing on Computer Science with a specialization in Search and Information Retrieval. Despite his dropout status, he has excelled in the tech industry, attributing his success to practical experience and hands-on learning. He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) combined with a Master of Science in Computer Science from IIIT Hyderabad and received his earlier education at the British Co-Ed School in Patiala.

Throughout his career, Ravneet has held key positions in reputable organizations, including Co-Founder at a stealth startup, Director of Technology, Engineering Manager, and Tech Lead at Vedantu, as well as Chief Technology Officer at Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services Pvt. Ltd. His professional journey also includes valuable experiences such as an internship at Microsoft and a research assistant role at IIIT Hyderabad.
