Rachel Henderson

Rachel Henderson joined Literacy KC in February 2016 as the Programs Support Coordinator. Rachel is an Emporia State University alumna and previously served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member for the Ticket to Read Program in 2015 at LKC. Her current role includes continued support for the AmeriCorps VISTA project as well as the Ticket to Read Program. Rachel is passionate about sports, including basketball and football, and serves as the Kansas PTA Vice President of Membership. Rachel is also the proud mother of two daughters and enjoys spending her free time traveling, shopping, and surfing Facebook. Rachel is thrilled to be part of the Literacy KC team as a former AmeriCorps member. Her favorite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
