Senior Director, ESPN Marketing
Rachel Epstein is the Vice President of ESPN Marketing, overseeing marketing for various ESPN properties and brands.13 She joined ESPN in July 2012 and has since held several leadership positions within the company.13
In her current role, Epstein is responsible for marketing ESPN properties including espnW, WNBA, Women's College Basketball, F1, MLB, NCAA Championships, Soccer, US Open, Wimbledon, and Little League World Series.3 She also leads ESPN's marketing strategy to drive female audience engagement and expansion across live sports, content, and events.3
Epstein's career at ESPN has progressed from Director of espnW to Senior Director of ESPN and espnW Marketing, before her promotion to Vice President.3 Prior to ESPN, she was part of the leadership team that launched Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) and worked at Wenner Media managing ad sales marketing for Rolling Stone, Us Weekly, and Men's Journal magazines.12
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Epstein graduated from Indiana University in 1995 where she was a member of the tennis team.1 She earned All-America honors, was a three-time All-Big Ten player, four-time Big Ten Champion, and team captain during her senior year.1
