Rachel Crystal is an award-winning Executive Producer and former Chief Creative Officer of the Oprah Winfrey Network, with a strong background in developing and producing nonfiction content.
She currently leads Lisa Erspamer Entertainment (LEE), a production company focused on creating impactful, talent-driven stories in the nonfiction genre. Additionally, she founded Happy Street Ventures, a venture capital fund supporting early-stage startups.
With over 20 years of experience, Rachel has been instrumental in producing critically acclaimed projects such as GABBY GIFFORDS WON'T BACK DOWN, WHITNEY, and A LETTER TO MY MOM. She has also worked with renowned brands like Starbucks, Kroger, and Pinterest to create branded content and advise on influencer partnerships.
Prior to establishing LEE, she worked closely with Oprah Winfrey for two decades, serving as the Co-Executive Producer of THE OPRAH WINFREY SHOW and later as the Chief Creative Officer at OWN. During her tenure at OWN, she greenlit 600 hours of original programming for its launch.
Rachel excels in developing innovative ideas and compelling narratives that resonate with audiences. She has a keen interest in collaborating with diverse talent, from A-list celebrities to influencers, and aligning them with the right projects or brands.
