Rachael McKeown
Inequalities Policy Fellow at ASSOCIATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH
Rachael McKeown is a highly educated individual with a strong academic background in Geography and Urban Geography. She achieved a 1st Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Geography at UCL, followed by a Distinction in her Master of Science (MSc) in Human Geography: Urban Geography from the University of Amsterdam.
Rachael has held various key positions in reputable organizations, showcasing her expertise in policy development and research. She served as the Inequalities Policy Fellow at the ASSOCIATION FOR YOUNG PEOPLE'S HEALTH, where she focused on addressing health disparities among young individuals.
Previously, Rachael contributed significantly to the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in different capacities. She held the role of Policy Lead, State of Child Health Project Manager, and Health Policy Assistant, demonstrating her commitment to improving child health and well-being through sound policy initiatives.
In addition to her work in child health, Rachael has undertaken research roles at the Education and Employers Taskforce and St George's, University of London, displaying her versatility in academic research and analysis.
