    PS Lee is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Singapore (NUS) with a rich background in academic research and leadership roles in various energy and mechanical engineering organizations.

    He also serves as the Executive Director at the Energy Studies Institute (ESI), Director of the Singapore Energy Centre (SgEC), Director of the Centre for Energy Research & Technology (CERT), and Programme Director of Cooling Energy Science & Technology Singapore (CoolestSG) national consortium.

    In addition to his academic pursuits, PS Lee is the Founder of CoolestDC, a startup focusing on high-efficiency liquid and two-phase cooling solutions for data centers. He is a distinguished Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), Energy Institute (EI), and the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES).

    His research group specializes in fundamental studies and enhancement techniques for microchannel heat transfer, including design, numerical simulations, and experimental investigations for various thermal systems. The group's main thrusts include fundamental understandings of microchannel fluid flow and heat transfer, heat transfer enhancement in microchannels, stabilized flow boiling in microchannels, and enhanced thermal systems.

    PS Lee's research activities primarily focus on applications related to data center cooling, electric vehicle battery thermal management, and power electronics cooling. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences, as well as 3 books. His research work has garnered significant recognition, with 6866 citations and a H-index of 40 as of July 31, 2021.

    PS Lee's educational background includes a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, an MEng in Mechanical Engineering, and a BEng (1st Class Honours) with a Minor in Business from the National University of Singapore. Prior to his current roles, he held various leadership positions, including being an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Executive Director at ESI, and Lab Supervisor at NUS.

    He has also been actively involved in several organizations, such as the Xi'an Jiaotong University, GCoreLab, and The Institution of Engineers, Singapore, where he contributed his expertise to furthering the field of mechanical engineering and energy studies through research, education, and technology development.
