Prukalpa Sankar is the co-founder of Atlan, a platform designed to support data teams and enhance collaboration within the realm of data management.

Before launching Atlan, Prukalpa founded SocialCops, a widely recognized company focused on leveraging data for social good, which earned accolades such as the New York Times Global Visionary and World Economic Forum Tech Pioneer.

Prukalpa Sankar has been honored with prestigious awards including the Economic Times Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, Forbes 30 Under 30, Fortune 40 Under 40, and recognized among the Top 10 CNBC Young Business Women in 2016. She has also shared her insights and experiences as a TED speaker.

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Prukalpa's passion for writing extends to topics such as Data Teams, Culture, Metadata & Data Governance 3.0, Startups, and Leadership. She aspires to delve into fiction writing with a goal of becoming a published author in the future.

Pursuing her academic interests, Prukalpa Sankar pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and Entrepreneurship from Nanyang Technological University.

Currently, Prukalpa serves as the co-founder at Atlan, focusing on driving innovation and collaboration within the data community, while also maintaining her ties to her previous venture as the former co-founder of SocialCops.
