Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Lucks is a highly accomplished professional with a rich background in hospital and university construction, primarily in Arab countries, Latin America, and China. He has served as a project leader in the nuclear industry and held a key position as Head of Cooperation Strategies at Siemens AG. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lucks has extensive experience in method transfer within mergers and acquisitions, culminating in the establishment of the global M&A Integration Competence Center. He has successfully led major M&A projects within the Siemens group, demonstrating his strategic leadership skills.
Having founded and chaired the Bundesverband Mergers & Acquisitions (BM&A), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Lucks has transformed the association into a research consortium, focusing on areas such as digitalization. His expertise and contributions to the field have been instrumental in shaping the M&A landscape in Germany.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Lucks completed his studies in Civil Engineering at the Technische Universität München, obtaining Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degrees. He has also served in leadership roles at prominent organizations such as MMI Merger Management Institut and Siemens, where he held the position of CD S2. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Kai Lucks currently serves as the Chairman of the Bundesverband Mergers & Acquisitions e.V. (BM&A e.V.), showcasing his commitment to driving excellence within the M&A sector.
