James Story

Prince James Story is a sports reporter and digital journalist with a focus on covering social inequities and underrepresented communities. He received his Bachelor's degrees in Mass Communication and African American Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.1 In December 2021, Story graduated from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication with a Master's degree in Sports Journalism.12

During his time at ASU, Story was honored as an Outstanding Graduate Student at the fall 2021 convocation ceremony.2 He worked as a graduate assistant with ASU's Global Sport Institute and participated in the Carnegie-Knight News21 program, where he reported on healthcare disparities in rural America during the COVID-19 pandemic.2
