Piotr Kaminski

Piotr Kaminski is the founder of Reviewable, a platform designed to enhance the code review process. He began developing Reviewable approximately seven years ago after recognizing a gap in the existing tools available for code reviews, particularly after his experiences at Google and Udacity. At Google, he was introduced to advanced internal tools for code review, which he found lacking when he transitioned to using GitHub's pull request system at Udacity.1

Kaminski has a background in computer science and mathematics, having studied at the University of Waterloo. His early career included roles at IBM and other tech companies, where he gained significant experience in software development and engineering culture. He has also contributed to various projects on GitHub related to Firebase and JavaScript.234

In his approach to building Reviewable, Kaminski aimed for a lightweight technology stack that would allow for rapid development while maintaining high quality. His work emphasizes the importance of effective code review practices in software engineering.2
