Philip Redding is a seasoned business manager with an impressive background in the Australian information technology industry. Mr. Redding began his career as a developer and analyst before transitioning to IT recruiting in 1993. He has held several senior management positions for around two years each and migrated from the UK to Australia. In 2009, he founded Endor Group, an ICT-focused group that grew from an IT recruiting focus to include an IT-focused marketing division, an IT training division, and a remote developer professional services division. Endor Group now reports revenues of around $7m pa.
Mr. Redding is an active technologist, regularly leading tech discussions at TECHLED micro-conferences nationally. He is an ACS Member, Vice Chair, and Certified Professional under the ACS Professional Standards Scheme, and his technology involvement and knowledge hold professional recognition from Australian federal, state, and territory governments. Seeking variety and further industry networking opportunities, he has joined the board of the Master of Business & Technology elite MBA at UTS, the board of directors of the Project Management Institute, and the board of directors at the Australian Computer Society.
Mr. Redding is well-known for his ability to work with people, understanding what makes them tick, what they are good at, and where they want to be heading. He maintains a hands-on/execution style and enjoys working with people on all levels. Besides his professional duties, he also works as a technology industry event MC and speaker, working alongside international speakers with technology companies and tech event organizations.
