Peymon Maskan is a dynamic individual who thrives on collaborating with Artists, Directors, and creative minds to produce unique and culturally impactful musical experiences. With a history dating back to 2012, Peymon has been instrumental as a Music Supervisor at Apple's esteemed external ad agency, Media Arts Lab. Progressing to the roles of Music Director in 2015 and Global Music Director in 2017, Peymon led an international team in creating iconic musical moments for the brand. Noteworthy projects include the acclaimed 2018 HomePod launch ad 'Welcome Home' directed by Spike Jonze, which showcased a new Anderson Paak track, catalyzing his breakthrough into the mainstream. The team's achievements also include the Grand Clio Music winning ad 'Share Your Gifts' in 2018 featuring an original song by Billie Eilish. Additionally, their 2017 Silver Cannes Lion winning ad 'Stroll' introduced Marian Hill's 'Down' to a global audience, and the Emmy Award winning 'Misunderstood' pivoted on a newly crafted cover by Cat Power. Under Peymon's leadership, the Music Department witnessed a fivefold increase in output over seven years, while the global Music Supervision team expanded threefold, collaborating on numerous ads with top-notch storytellers and creatives. Peymon is equally passionate about his role as Global Music Director and the hands-on work as a Music Supervisor. Prior to his ad agency stint, he served as a Music Supervisor for over 30 film and TV projects, offering a rich understanding of music's role across diverse platforms and narratives. Eager for new challenges, Peymon remains open to unexpected and stimulating opportunities in his upcoming endeavors.
