Peter Coolen

Peter Ernst Coolen is a well-known figure in the street art world, serving as the founder and curator of Street Art Today in Amsterdam. He has organized the Kings Spray street art festival and produced acclaimed street art murals for ING and Rijksmuseum Amsterdam. With a rich background in the arts, Peter has been an invited speaker at prestigious events like ICOM, Hermitage St. Petersburg, and Amsterdam Museum. He is also the visionary behind the world's largest street art museum in Amsterdam.

Throughout his career, Peter has held key positions in various organizations, including director and curator at Street Art Today, director at Kings Spray, and jury member for Dutch Creativity Awards at ADCN. He has also served as chairman of the jury for Street Art Awards and co-curator at Artmossphere Biennale. His diverse experience includes roles such as digital designer at MediaMonks, founder of NAME Gallery Amsterdam, and art director at Urban Stylistix.

Peter's creative journey has seen him collaborate with renowned brands and institutions, showcasing his talent as a senior creative at Brandbase, art director / designer at Superplus, and creative director / founder at Brut Creatives.
