Percy Wong
Head, Systematic Investment Group at GIC
Percy Wong was the former Head of the Systematic Investment Group (SIG) at GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund.13 He joined GIC in 2012 after working as a banker at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.1 Wong led the SIG, a core quantitative unit established in 2016, which focused on multi-asset quantitative investment strategies.3
As of January 2025, Wong is no longer with GIC. The company has scaled back the SIG unit as part of a "tough" overhaul of its investment teams.1 This reorganization resulted in some team members being reassigned to different units, while others left to join external quant firms.1
