Gaurav T Jain

Gaurav T. Jain is the Senior Vice President and India Head of the Technology Investment Group at GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund. Based in Mumbai, he leads GIC's technology investment initiatives in India, focusing on growth-stage companies and venture capital funds. His notable investments include companies like Razorpay, Cred, Swiggy, Locus, and Ola. He has also contributed to investments in leading financial institutions such as Bajaj Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDFC, and Bandhan Bank. Additionally, he serves on the LP advisory boards of several venture funds in India.123

Gaurav joined GIC in 2011 and has worked across its offices in Singapore, San Francisco, and Mumbai. Before GIC, he worked as an Analyst in Citigroup's Investment Banking Division. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bangalore University, where he was a gold medalist. He has also completed the Intermediate Level (PE-II) of Chartered Accountancy in India.123
