Penelope Ward is an experienced commercial lawyer with a passion for infrastructure project delivery, new technologies, and innovation.

She has a strong background in front-end commercial, contract, and transactional advice, particularly in regulated industries, telecommunications, and infrastructure delivery.

With over 8 years of experience in major projects, Penelope is skilled in regulatory approvals, land access, climate change, contaminated sites, and renewable energy projects.

Her educational achievements include a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with Honours, a Master of Laws (LLM), and additional certifications in legal practice and transnational legal studies.

Penelope is fluent in English and French and has a diverse educational background that encompasses law, political science, and peace and conflict studies.

She has held various positions at respected organizations such as Chapman Tripp, nbn™ Australia, Clayton Utz, and the Centre for Sustainability Leadership.

Penelope has also been involved in international legal matters, including participation in the UNFCCC International Climate Negotiations and serving as the International Director at Project Survival Pacific.
