Peer Richelsen

Peer Richelsen is a German entrepreneur and software engineer, currently serving as the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Cal.com, Inc. He co-founded Cal.com in June 2021, with the mission to connect a billion people through open-source scheduling solutions by 2031. The company aims to provide infrastructure-ready, accessible, and extensible scheduling software, differentiating itself from existing SaaS solutions in the market.14

Before Cal.com, Richelsen held several notable positions. He was the Head of Product at On Deck, where he managed the product roadmap and helped build the product suite. He also founded Lean Hire, a company that connected contractors with startups, which was later acquired by On Deck. Additionally, he co-founded Mage App, Inc., where he raised $880,000 in funding and served over 50,000 customers across Europe and the USA.123

Richelsen is an alumnus of Y Combinator, having participated in the Winter 2019 batch, and he studied Business Information Technology at Kiel University.12 His entrepreneurial journey reflects a strong focus on open-source technology and innovative solutions in the software industry.
