Pedro De Bruyckere

Pedro De Bruyckere is an educational specialist with a PhD focused on authenticity in education. He is well-known for his work as a myth buster in the field of education and is a co-author of the popular book Urban Myths about Learning and Education. Apart from his academic pursuits, Pedro is also a talented guitar player and music producer. He is a dedicated family man, being a loving husband and father, and regularly shares his insights and thoughts through blogging.

Pedro's educational journey includes studying Bachelor of Teacher Dutch, History, and Geography at KLBO, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education from Open Universiteit, and completing Master's degrees in Educational Sciences and Pedagogy from Ghent University.

Throughout his career, Pedro has been associated with various organizations, including serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Leiden University. He has also held roles such as Gastspreker at Spreker rond Generatie Y, Musicproducer at Bluemusic, Pedagoog at Arteveldehogeschool, Docent at Arteveldehogeschool, and PHD-student at University of Antwerp. Moreover, Pedro has contributed as a content developer at Universiteit Gent and U&I Learning, and has taught Dutch courses for exchange students at institutions like Sociale Hogeschool Gent, KaHog Gent, Egon, and Arteveldehogeschool.
