Pawan Kinger

Pawan Kinger is the Director of Deep Security Labs at Trend Micro, leading a team of vulnerability researchers and IPS experts in creating security content for Trend Micro's Hyber Cloud product Deep Security.

With a deep passion for information security, Pawan Kinger dedicates his time to researching and analyzing cyber threats to develop effective solutions for ensuring customer protection. He believes in the simplicity of security through hygiene, awareness, least privilege, and continuous monitoring.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Pawan Kinger has a keen interest in reading books, both fiction and non-fiction, and engaging in activities like ice and roller skating, sailing, skiing, and running, which he finds to be liberating for the mind.

Pawan Kinger holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree from Nagpur University and has held key positions in reputable organizations like Trend Micro, Third Brigade, BlueLane Technologies, and Mahindra British Telecom, where he has contributed significantly to vulnerability research, rules development, quality assurance, and test automation.
