Julie Foster Hedlund

Julie Foster Hedlund is a well-known name in the world of children's book authors. With an impressive academic background in political science and international political economy, she has carved a niche for herself in the field of writing, and now she is an award-winning children's book author. She is the founder of the 12 x 12 Picture Book Writing Challenge, which has been instrumental in helping aspiring writers achieve their dreams. Not limiting herself to writing, Julie since transitioning to writing full time, also runs a company called The Abundant Writer LLC, which helps writers build thriving careers.

She has a considerable amount of professional experience and expertise in senior management, particularly in network and business payments, as well as eCommerce groups. Prior to her current professions, she was the former Senior Director of Network Rules at NACHA, where she was responsible for creating a more standardized and effective payments network across the country. She has also worked as a Senior Consultant at James Orr Associates.

In terms of personal interests, Julie is passionate about running, hiking, skiing, traveling, and cooking. She also loves reading and sipping on red wine at sunset, which add a touch of romance to her life.
