Paul Spooner
Paul Spooner is an experienced restaurant industry professional with a passion for operational excellence, training programs, and maximizing profit for businesses. With 30 years of experience in hospitality and several General Manager positions to his credit, he knows the ins and outs of the industry. Paul complemented his industry knowledge with 15 years of teaching experience as a faculty instructor at the International Culinary School at the Art Institute and currently teaching at several universities. He specialized in system operations, cost control programs, menu analysis, labor controls, HR systems, and profit maximization consulting services.
Paul's educational qualifications include a Master's Degree with a 4.0 GPA in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental and Resource Geography from San Diego State University. He is an active Adjunct Professor at California Lutheran University, Ventura County Community College District, and Glendale Community College
As an accomplished Director of Operations, Paul has worked with Pearl Dragon, Falcon Hollywood, Anisette Brasserie, and several TS Restaurants, including Duke's Malibu and La Quinta Cliffhouse, providing expert guidance to several food establishments.
