Paul Segre

Paul Segre is an American businessman currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Synamedia, a position he has held since October 23, 2020. Before joining Synamedia, he was the CEO of Genesys, a customer experience software company, where he played a pivotal role in leading a $1.6 billion spin-out from Alcatel-Lucent in 2012. Under his leadership, Genesys grew to become one of the largest privately held software companies globally and the leading cloud provider in its sector.123

Segre holds a bachelor's degree in mathematical sciences and a master's degree in Operations Research from Stanford University. His career includes significant roles at various companies, including serving as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Genesys, and positions at DSC, AT&T Network Systems, and Bell Labs.134

At Synamedia, Segre is focused on driving growth and innovation in video software solutions, particularly in the context of IP distribution and addressing challenges such as streaming piracy.23
