Paul Brucke

Paul Brucke is an accomplished solar PV system design expert with a wealth of experience in the field. He specializes in both AC and DC electrical design and engineering aspects of solar PV systems. With a background in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University, Paul has worked on numerous utility-scale and commercial rooftop and ground mounted PV projects. His expertise includes estimating energy generation, securing interconnection approvals, and conducting technical due diligence for asset investments.

Paul has successfully led design teams for a variety of solar projects across 34 US States, as well as in Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, and Japan. His portfolio boasts over 35 GW of projects in various stages of development, construction, or operation, with involvement in over 1400 projects. Additionally, he has provided interconnection support for more than 32 GW of projects.

Throughout his career, Paul has held key engineering positions at reputable organizations, including serving as the Principal Engineer at Solphi Engineering PLLC. He has also held senior roles such as VP of Engineering at Cypress Creek Renewables, Manager of Solar Engineering Services at Black & Veatch, Director of Engineering at Strata Solar, Engineer at Mitsubishi Semiconductor America, and Staff Engineer at Qimonda (formerly Infineon Technologies).

Paul's professional journey has been marked by his involvement in all aspects of solar PV projects, from initial design to construction monitoring and commissioning. He has a proven track record in estimating and managing EPC projects, as well as directing O&M efforts for operational solar PV plants. Paul's expertise extends to consulting with utilities, project developers, and owners, making him a versatile and sought-after professional in the renewable energy industry.
