Paul Audet

Paul Audet, a seasoned professional, currently serves as the managing member of Symmetrical Ventures LLC, a company founded in 2015 dedicated to partnering with innovative individuals to revolutionize traditional business models using disruptive technology.

Prior to establishing Symmetrical, Mr. Audet held the position of Senior Managing Director at BlackRock, Inc. in New York. He played a pivotal role in BlackRock's growth trajectory, starting in 1994 as the Director of M&A for PNC, overseeing the acquisition of BlackRock for $240 million when the company managed around $20 billion in assets.

During his 20-year tenure at BlackRock, Mr. Audet served as the Chief Financial Officer, steering the company through a successful IPO in 1999, transforming the initial $900 million market cap to over $60 billion by the time of his retirement in 2014. His strategic leadership contributed to BlackRock's recognition as one of the World's 50 Most Admired Companies by Fortune in 2013, alongside tech giants like Facebook, Google, Amazon, and eBay.

Apart from his executive roles, Mr. Audet garnered extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, actively participating in over 20 high-profile transactions totaling nearly $40 billion. He also held directorial positions in various boards, including those overseeing BlackRock's active Mutual Fund Business.

Educationally, Paul Audet pursued a Bachelor's degree with a focus on Economics and Accounting at Rutgers University - Newark. His professional journey includes positions at respected organizations like PNC, First Fidelity Bancorp, PaineWebber, and Price Waterhouse.
