Patrina Robinson

Patrina Robinson is a professional in higher education currently serving as an Outreach Coordinator and Communications personnel at UAMS, the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Her career spans various roles, including being a Director of Graduate Admissions/ International Student Advisor as well as a Project Manager in Medical Humanities and Bioethics at UAMS.

Robinson has a diverse professional background, having previously worked as an Investigative Analyst and Social Media Investigator for the Arkansas Attorney General. Additionally, she has been involved in community engagement activities, particularly as a Child Advocate and Anti-Bullying Presenter at the Office of the Arkansas Attorney General.

With an educational foundation in English, Professional and Technical Writing, and English Literature, Robinson's academic pursuits have equipped her with a strong writing background and analytical skills. She is a dedicated lifelong learner, having completed various training programs at institutions like the UA Criminal Justice Institute, UALR's MidSouth Prevention Institute, and the Family Online Safety Institute in Washington, D.C.

Robinson's career path has also seen her tenure at UALR, where she served as a program coordinator for the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs and the Vice Chancellor of Finance. In this role, she managed office operations, supported executives, and organized faculty ceremonies, events, and workshops.

Inspired by her parents' legacy as college professors and community advocates, Robinson is passionate about public service and community engagement. She views Public Relations as the ideal career that allows her to combine her love for writing, public service, and higher education.

In her previous roles, Robinson engaged in investigative work, community advocacy, event planning, and public relations activities. Her dedication to empowering communities, addressing cyber safety concerns, and supporting families in need demonstrates her commitment to making a positive impact.
