Patrick Walsh

Patrick Walsh is the Founder and CEO of Dogpatch Labs, a prominent startup hub located in Dublin, Ireland. Established in November 2014, Dogpatch Labs serves as a key player in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within the Irish tech ecosystem. It is home to over 250 startups and more than 500 members, providing a collaborative environment for entrepreneurs and tech innovators.14

Walsh has been recognized for his significant contributions to the tech industry in Ireland, receiving the Guaranteed Irish Tech Hero title in 2017. This accolade reflects his efforts in establishing Ireland as a leading startup hub.13 Under his leadership, Dogpatch Labs has also managed the National Digital Research Centre (NDRC), which supports ambitious entrepreneurs through various accelerator programs.23

Before founding Dogpatch Labs, Walsh had experience in international expansion at Hassle.com and was involved in other entrepreneurial ventures. He is also a founding board member of Scale Ireland, a non-profit organization aimed at creating a favorable policy environment for startups.23
