Patrick Turner

Patrick Turner is an experienced educator with a strong passion for challenging students to explore real-world challenges through the lens of science.

With over twenty years of teaching experience, Patrick believes in encouraging students to think innovatively and embrace failures as opportunities for growth.

His educational background includes a Master of Education in Learning and Technology from Western Governors University, along with a Bachelor's degree and Initial Teacher Professional Preparatory Program.

Patrick has held various roles in prestigious educational institutions such as Avon Old Farms School, The Whittle School and Studios, and West Nottingham Academy, where he served as a Residential Science Faculty, STEM Faculty, and Chair of the STEM Department respectively.

His teaching experience spans across schools like Florida Prepatory Academy and Brandon Hall School, where he contributed significantly as a High School Science Teacher and Director of Resident Life.

Additionally, Patrick has served as a District Executive at the Boy Scouts of America, showcasing his diverse skill set in leadership and education.

Currently seeking a science teaching position, Patrick aims to foster strong student-teacher relationships while promoting critical thinking and academic excellence.
