Paras Bhandari

Paras Bhandari is an accomplished professional with a background in Environmental Science and Natural Resources.

He completed his Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Environmental Science at Kathmandu University, followed by his MSc. in Environment and Natural Resources, specializing in Environmental Economics, REDD+, Climate Change, and Environmental Policy Making.

Currently, Paras serves as an Environmental Specialist at Himalayan Consultancy for Energy, Environment, and Development Pvt. Ltd. (HCEED), where he utilizes his expertise to make meaningful contributions in the field.

Prior to his current role, Paras gained valuable experience as an Intern at ICIMOD and also worked as a Fieldwork Facilitator at the same organization, showcasing his dedication and passion for environmental issues.

His diverse educational background and hands-on experience in environmental organizations have equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of environmental challenges and policies.
