Pamela Cates-Albert is a dedicated educator and a former attorney who has an extensive background in education, nonprofit, and small business sectors.
She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a focus on International Business Administration and Legal Studies of Business from Temple University.
Pamela has held various roles in different organizations, including being a Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America, a Staff Attorney at UnitedLex Corporation, a Special Education Teacher at Equipo Academy, a Corps Member at Teach For America, and a Legal Fellow at The Brandery, among others.
Her diverse experience ranges from legal roles such as being a Legal Extern at Fifth Third Bank, a Senior Partners for Justice Intern at Norfolk Probate and Family Court, and interning at the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, to serving in educational positions like being an 11th Grade Instructor at The Law and Leadership Institute and a Graduate Assistant at the University of Cincinnati.
In addition to her professional experiences, Pamela also has a background in social services, having interned with organizations such as The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Cadence Cycling Foundation, Vision for Equality, and working in various roles at TGI Fridays, Lone Star Steakhouse, and Party City.
