In 2011, I discovered a niche market of Job Seekers, College Students, Sales Professionals and Business Owners in great need of learning "The Power of LinkedIn" beyond the basic LinkedIn 101 Workshops.  From a Recruiter's perspective, I realized all my hands-on experience using LinkedIn could be leveraged to educate people on how Recruiters search for candidates.  Essentially reverse-engineering the recruiting process to teach Job Seekers and College Students how to position themselves in a manner to be easily found by potential Employers.  I show Sales Professionals and Business Owners how to gain exposure for their products or services, while reaching out to their target markets.

I provided individual and group workshops for Bay Area Job Seekers, College Students, Sales Professionals and Business Owners which I called "Advanced LinkedIn Workshops".  The truth is most "LinkedIn Experts" are not Recruiters like me and I have yet to see anyone teach the in-depth LinkedIn Strategies that I teach.  Taking your LinkedIn Education to a whole new level in a step-by-step process that is easy to follow.

International Customer Service Manager

In an effort to expand my recruiting experience, I branched out into the Agricultural and Consumer Packaged Goods industries.

In 2010, I worked with Driscoll’s, the #1 berry company in the world, headquartered in Watsonville, CA.  I reached out to universities with strong Ag. and Food Industry programs to find top college grads for Internships and Entry-Level positions.

In 2011, I worked with FullBloom Baking Company, the largest LEED Certified Organic Bakery in the country, headquartered in Newark, CA.  Unfortunately, the company unexpectedly lost its second largest client and there was an instant hiring freeze.  Later the company was sold.

Then the Mobile Apps industry caught my attention, so in 2012 I worked with <a href="http://Tapjoy.com">Tapjoy.com</a>, an amazing Mobile Advertising and Monetization App company headquartered in San Francisco, CA.

These contract opportunities entailed full-cycle recruiting for multiple departments.

The Applicant Tracking Systems I used were Mploy, Taleo and JobScore.  I have experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, SwoopTalent, Entelo, Github, StackOverflow, as well as many Industry-Specific Career Boards to find potential candidates.  Combining LinkedIn research with cold calling strategies was also implemented to attract talent from competitors.  Conducted phone screenings, reviewed resumes with Hiring Managers and checked references.  Scheduled multiple interviews as candidates progressed through the long interview process.
