Omkar Dixit

Omkar Dixit, a professional with a background in renewable energy, holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kolhapur, India.

Currently serving as a Project Manager at Afry, Omkar oversees project execution for various technologies like Solar PV, Wind, BESS, and Hydrogen. He also plays a pivotal role in establishing Afry's renewable energy operations in India and expanding to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India markets.

Previously, Omkar held the position of Renewable Energy Engineering Lead at Black & Veatch, where he focused on enhancing client value in Solar, Wind Energy, and Battery storage projects. His responsibilities included technical contract negotiations and techno-commercial analysis.

Prior to his role at Black & Veatch, Omkar worked at Sgurr Energy, performing Solar resource assessments, Solar PV plant design, monitoring solar developments, providing techno-commercial analysis, conducting risk assessments, and engaging in discussions with vendors, contractors, and developers.
