Omer Gozen

Omer Gozen is a seasoned investor focusing on early-stage startups in areas like advanced materials, renewables, packaging, sustainability, and food and beverage. He is actively involved in running innovation platforms that help startups grow and support corporations in their external innovation efforts. With a rich global background, Omer has expertise in technology development, product commercialization, business strategy, and management.

His academic journey includes a PhD and MS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, complemented by an MBA specializing in Entrepreneurship and Global Business. Omer is based in Silicon Valley, the heart of technological advancement and innovation.

Throughout his career, Omer Gozen has held key positions in various organizations, including Senior Vice President at Plug and Play Tech Center, where he spearheaded initiatives in New Materials, Packaging, Food, Beverage, and AgTech. Prior to this, he had roles at Owens Corning and Bridgestone, showcasing his experience in product development, leadership, and innovation. Omer has also contributed his expertise as a Postdoctoral Associate at North Carolina State University, a PhD Intern at Procter & Gamble, and a Consultant at Siemens Healthcare.
