Building car models to be solved by Finite Elements Method in the field of Pedestrian Safety and Passive Safety according to Euro NCAP system. 

Models are builded with ANSA.

Finite Element Analysis carried by Abaqus and Ls-Dyna and Permas.

Post-processing with Metapost and Animator.

Working for important OEM's as Porsche and Daimler.

Mechanical properties study in steel and other metallic materials for different applications in automotive (trailers) and civil engineering (crane booms and silos).

Structural simulations were carried out by finite elements simulations using Abaqus 6 remotely on a powerful Linux computer. I learned Material Science in a international company in different fields as Civil Engineering and automotive. This experience gives me a deep knowledge in layouts, design engineering and finite elements analysis.

Furthermore, an interpretation of results, including optimization of material selection to minimize cost/weight was done. In the case of automotive (trailer chassis) and civil engineering (cranes), metallic structures were taken until failure to analyze limits of the material and structure. All the data collected by the simulations was analyzed and written on reports to the company.
