Simran Suri

Simran Suri is a Senior Associate at Equal Ventures, a thesis-driven, seed-stage venture capital firm. Prior to joining Equal, Simran gained experience in venture capital through internships at Greenspring Associates, SoGal Ventures, and VC-backed startup Predata.12

Simran is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she received a B.A. in International Studies and Sociology through the Global Social Change & Development program. During her time at Hopkins, Simran worked as Managing Partner of the university's student-run fund, A-Level Capital. In this role, she led numerous investments in early-stage companies founded by Hopkins students, alumni and faculty.12

At Equal Ventures, Simran has spent time across various verticals like retail and insurance, and has led the firm's work in climate and the care economies.3 She is passionate about supporting founders who are building tools to make living and working more gratifying for consumers.3
