Njoki Gitahi is a creative director, brand, and product strategist as well as a visual designer based in New York City with a passion for crafting beautifully made solutions.
She specializes in using visual design to drive deeper exploration, collaboration, and clarity across various creative challenges, helping organizations define their visions, create meaningful products and experiences, and express their identities.
With an extensive background that includes eight years at IDEO and a foundation in geology, Njoki has worked with renowned brands such as Nike, Disney, Google, Coca-Cola, and more, showcasing her expertise in designing dynamic brands, interactive campaigns, human-centered products, and future-facing visions.
Her educational journey includes studies at Amherst College for a BA in Geology, Yale School of Art for an MFA in Graphic Design, and Executive Education at Yale School of Management for Business Perspectives for Creative Leaders.
Throughout her career, Njoki has held positions at prestigious organizations like IDEO, Neol, InVision, and as a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania and NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
