Nisian Hughes is a versatile creative based in Paris and New York, specializing in photography and directing. With over a decade of experience as an art director for top magazines and ad agencies, including Double, Paris Photo, Ogilvy and Mather, and Mikco, he's primarily self-taught in photography and video. A passion and talent for visual storytelling led him to become a professional photographer, and he's since worked on exciting campaigns for major brands in the US and Europe.

One of Nisian's most significant projects early on in his career was photographing and videoing Icelandic singer-songwriter Bjork during her Greatest Hits World Tour, whom he traveled the world with. Nisian is currently creating a photographic book featuring his collection of ballet images. He's a graduate of the Parsons School of Design, with a background studying communication design, and he attended the United Nations International School in New York.

In his various roles, Nisian has been a photographer, creative director, senior photographer, partner and creative director, publishing director, and art director in several top-tier companies. He's had affiliations with x international inc., Century 21 Department Stores, Kworq, x+rey, and more. Nisian's work reflects a consistent search for perfection, drawn to the relentless strive for something greater than himself.
