Nikki Barron

Nikki Barron serves as the Outreach & Communications Manager at Seattle Musicians Access to Sustainable Healthcare (SMASH). In her role, she focuses on promoting the organization’s mission to provide musicians with access to affordable healthcare services, which includes medical, dental, and mental health support. SMASH aims to enhance the well-being of local artists in the Puget Sound region, allowing them to concentrate on their craft while receiving necessary care.12

Barron has been instrumental in increasing community awareness about SMASH through various outreach efforts, including benefit concerts that feature both established and emerging musicians. These events not only raise funds but also serve as a platform to inform artists about the healthcare resources available to them.13 Her work contributes significantly to SMASH's growth and its ability to serve more musicians effectively.14

Before her current position at SMASH, Nikki held roles such as Marketing Manager at The Crocodile and has experience in various communications roles within the nonprofit sector.5
