He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agronomy and Rural Communication from Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, and a Master of Science in Agronomy from Bangladesh Agricultural University.
Akm Zakaria has received prestigious national awards such as the Independence Award and Bongobondhu National Agriculture Award, in addition to international recognition including the International Communication Award from London and Flame Award Asia from Delhi.
Throughout his career, he has served as an Agril Scientist, Honorary Research Consultant, and Director at the Rural Development Academy (RDA) in Bogra, demonstrating a strong commitment to agricultural sciences and rural communication.
