Nicole Payntar

Nicole Payntar is an expert in machine learning and computer vision as applied to archaeological and remote sensing, with experience in Python, Matlab, and ArcGIS. With an academic background in archaeology and anthropology, she brings a unique perspective to her work in GeoAI, cultural heritage, and heritage tourism. Payntar has worked in a variety of academic and research roles, including teaching and research assistantships at several universities, directorships and supervisor roles on archaeological projects, and researcher roles in government and private organizations. She is also skilled in sustainability and conservation and has worked in HR and business analysis roles in addition to her academic and research experience.
