Nicole Amada

Nicole Amada, a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology at the City University of New York, has two major research interests. She is focused on exploring the long-term effects of psychedelic experiences on self-representation and in turn on eudaimonic well-being. Nicole is also investigating the practice of mindfulness and its application in enhancing eudaimonic well-being. She is studying the role of mindfulness in promoting adaptive development throughout the lifespan, as well as its potential as preparation and integration techniques for psychedelic experience. Nicole has also worked with the Queensborough Community College and the Brooklyn College as an adjunct lecturer, and with Ramapo College of New Jersey as a research assistant.
