Nicolas Francois

Nicolas François is the co-founder and CEO of BLAST, a sports complex located in Pantin, France.12 He created BLAST with his business partner Lucile Grentzinger to offer activities such as parkour, Ninja Warrior, and other sports in a 1000 m2 indoor facility.12

Before founding BLAST in 2018, Nicolas had a background in finance, working for 10 years in that field before leaving to pursue entrepreneurship.1 He first created WOMENLAB, an e-commerce company selling high-end sports equipment for women.1

Nicolas is an avid sports enthusiast himself, having completed an Ironman competition.2 His passion for sports and entrepreneurship led him to develop BLAST, which has become successful among families, sports enthusiasts, and parkour professionals.2

Under Nicolas's leadership, BLAST has expanded its offerings and partnerships. They work with schools, local governments, and even have an agreement with Paris firefighters to use the facility for training.1 Nicolas and his team aim to focus on parkour, Ninja Warrior, and Chase Tag, with plans to open additional locations in Paris and potentially expand to other European capitals.1
