Newsha Dania Zargaran is a lawyer specializing in labour law, employment law, and litigation. At PCLS, Newsha was involved in community-based legal work that aimed to address systemic issues affecting low-income individuals. This role included direct client representation and engagement in broader social justice initiatives.12 She is also committed to social advocacy through a decolonial and feminist lens, reflecting her dedication to equity and inclusion within the legal profession.24
In addition to her work at PCLS, Newsha serves on various boards and committees, including the Board of Directors for the Parkdale Community Legal Clinic and the Governance Committee of Sherbourne Health, which focuses on integrated health services for marginalized communities.24 Her contributions to legal research include work on resources for lawyers working with Indigenous peoples.2
