Managed a global programme portfolio that has on average 40 projects delivered annually across EMEA, NA and APAC, with an annual budget of over US$1.5M. Also was responsible for the management and prioritisation of projects, resourcing, issue and risk management, budgeting and reporting to senior management. Successfully implemented a high run rate of projects through the year and delivered regulatory projects on time.

Re-engineered the program methodology to combine both the waterfall and agile methodologies and increase the run rate and reduce costs; led a monthly global steering committee to act as a central forum for making key decisions for the portfolio and review of monthly deliverables;  created fortnightly working groups to ensure all stakeholders were actively aware of the pipeline and for them to bring any new projects to the group as a result of audits or control failures.

Completed numerous complex projects for Product Development, Operations and Business, including: on boarding of a new Gas Spot market, a migration of a commodities clearing house, implementing new margin methodology (Eurex Prisma) to the firm, migration of our Russian broker. Furthermore, ensured requirements and impact assessments were vetted and documented, testing was thoroughly conducted, and go live was successfully managed for each project

Project Manager

Managed the FX, Financials and Clean Energy, LNG, Logistics and Shipping (CELLS) team as well as working with other management across different business units to initiate, develop and improve the trading systems (OpenLink Endure) and workflows. Created a cohesive global working model within the organisation to enable a smoother and more effective follow the sun model.

Settlement Manager

Managed four technical specialists onshore and supervised 6 offshore managers. Monitored operating procedures within the deliveries team, and developed recommendations on how to improve efficiencies and risk management to business heads. One key process improvement initiative was a reduction of trade breaks between the exchange and house books by over 90%, effectively reducing a whole head count.

Gained in-depth understanding of commodities and futures industry, as well as hedge fund investment behavior, through daily client account management, trade management, exchange reconciliation, and Goldman Sachs University coursework in precious and base metals, energy and energy derivatives. Performed risk management and operations tasks through process improvement initiatives, technology enhancement projects, and resource efficiency analysis.

Built trusted rapport with clients and traders based on depth of knowledge of listed derivative markets and the trading environment. Assisted both the equity and commodities trading desks to ease their workload, maintaining efficiency during busy trading period, and resolve outstanding trade bookings and client issues. Stayed on top of world issues and current events and anticipated their impact on financial markets and world economies.

Technology Initiatives 
Primary tester for the firm's proprietary clearing system. Recognized as one of the firms top testers based on ability to be creative and innovative as well as communicate effectively with IT developers. Continually sought after by technical professionals for system knowledge and feedback. Chosen to assist in numerous technical projects that improved firm's current technology.
