• Developed the product strategy to enable restaurant employees to manage inventory digitally in an understaffed fast paced environment.
• Empowered restaurant employees with a set of mobile apps that digitized ordering inventory, counting inventory stock, preparing food product, while ensuring food safety.
• Key inventory outcomes include: lowered time to complete inventory tasks by 1.5 hours/day, tracked and achieved 74% team member satisfaction, and increased customer reported cleanliness by 10%.
• Established business case and launched a financial incentive to increase team member pay that worked the late night shift, resulting in 2 additional hours opened late night and a 20% increase in sales.

Lead Product Management and Strategy for Experian’s Insurance Vertical.

• Tasked with answering big questions Experian had: How do we significantly grow Insurance with consideration for existing contractual constraints? How do we drastically increase YoY growth from low single digits to double digits? 

• Owner of the Insurance Vertical 8 figure P&L with responsibility for a suite of credit reporting products designed for Insurers to underwrite and market Insurance to consumers. In my first full fiscal year, doubled YoY revenue growth.

• Proposed and secured executive approval for a new vertical strategy to significantly grow Insurance while taking into account existing contractual restrictions.

• Identified a key innovation bet to make with the Insurance Sandbox - an analytic tool coupled with the breadth and depth of Experian data for Insurers to identify new market opportunities, determine if the risk in their portfolio has greatly shifted, and build new models.

• Collaborated with product owners and designers to strengthen the existing product offerings, as well as iterate the Insurance Sandbox based on Insurer voice of customer feedback.

• Design coach as part of Experian’s transformation to Pathways, an internal innovation framework inspired by Lean Startup, Design Thinking, and Jobs to be Done principles.

Lead consumer engagement for Ten-X Homes, a startup within Ten-X focused on creating a new business in residential real estate.

• Launched Xoey, a new mobile product and business designed to help buyers prepare for the biggest purchase of their life. Their home.  In four months, resulted in 19,000+ app installs and nearly 900 referrals to partner real estate agents.

• Collaborated with the design, research, technical product management and engineering teams to create four core features that became Xoey.

•  Wrote product and user experience requirements that translated into epics and user stories for development. This included ongoing prioritization of the product backlog.

•  Performed consumer research and experimentation that drove product changes, resulting in 105% increase in retention. 

• Created and managed the analytics framework for which we would measure progress towards business goals. Due to anticipated iteration and pivots to our product, set up reporting based on cohorts.

•Design coach as part of Ten-X' Design Thinking transformation. Led workshops to help colleagues learn the mindsets and tools of Design Thinking.

• Tasked with answering big questions Ten-X Homes had: Who is our customer? What is their problem worth solving? What is our value proposition? What is our business model?

• Formed and led a small cross-functional team of designers and researchers where we executed a design research process that went from customer interviews to product concepts. We envisioned ten new product opportunities, a referral business model and the point of view that "Ten-X should help consumers prepare for real estate and match them to their right agent."

• Influenced senior leadership through data and storytelling.  Successfully secured multi-million dollar funding for this new business opportunity.

• Partnered with acquisition and research teams to drive experimentation ranging from landing page tests to customer interviews.  Concluded early on that our product was desirable by users and we had a path to a viable business.

Lead product management, design, and strategy for Experian

• Led a small team and operated as an internal consultancy to identify new opportunities that significantly advance our current leadership position in credit or expand into new verticals like healthcare. Resulted in the creation of 14 new product concepts and 2 new business models, showcased via digital prototypes.

• Introduced a vision of the future (north star) that transforms how Experian engages consumers and what it stands for. In 2017, the first product concept, Experian CreditLock, launched in-market to prevent identity theft on a consumers credit report.

• Partnered with the design team and ushered in Design Thinking methodology as the process to envision innovative products and business models. Methods include user research, synthesis, frameworks, brainstorming and product design.

• Launched the FICO score to millions of users which empowered members with the same credit score that the majority of lenders use. 

• Redesigned and repackaged the Experian Credit Tracker experience making it responsive to any device and user-friendly to engage credit information.  Membership base grew by over 50% in the first 12 months. 

• Utilizing Scrum methodology, operated as Product Owner to launch the above enhancements.

• Developed and managed a lean product implementation team.

• Developed a 12-month roadmap including ongoing prioritization of backlog.

• Defined business requirements and user stories for major enhancements such as new feature functionality and user experience.  New features include Identity Monitoring, 3-Bureau Comprehensive Credit Reports and Scores resulting in incremental revenues of $10+ million and cost savings of $4+ million.

• Partnered with marketing, technology and key stakeholders to determine detailed plans for product implementation and go to market.
