Nelson Spencer is a dedicated and empathetic professional with a strong background in data-driven strategies in the realms of decision science, industrial/organizational psychology, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sport Management from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master's Degree in Data Science from Elmhurst College.

Previously, he contributed to the Cleveland Indians in Baseball Operations handling Learning and Development & People Analytics.

Additionally, Nelson has worked as a Senior Analyst in Data Strategy & Analytics at Major League Soccer and as an Analyst in Data Solutions at SocialCode.

His diverse experiences also include being a Data Science Student at Metis New Economy Skills Training, an Analyst at STATS LLC, and holding roles at various MLB teams such as the Tampa Bay Rays, Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, and the Boston Red Sox.

During his academic journey, Nelson also served as a Video Assistant for the Softball Team at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, showcasing his versatile skill set and passion for sports.
