Nelson Owoicho

Nelson Owoicho is a seasoned professional with over five years of experience in International NGOs like UNICEF and United Purpose, demonstrating expertise as a Freelance Documentary Photographer, Videographer, Content Creator, and Social Media Consultant in Nigeria and India.

He has a strong background in collecting and creating content for International Broadcast Media and has actively contributed to capacity building within NGOs such as Fhi360 and Schools, enhancing the skills of staff, teachers, and students.

His educational journey includes certificates in Social Sector Management from Enterprise Development Centre Pan Atlantic University, Social Initiator from kanthari - International Institute for Social Entrepreneurs, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Agriculture, Makurdi.

Throughout his career, Nelson has held roles such as Field Communications Officer at CBM Global Disability Inclusion, Co-Founder/COO at Shammah Schools, and Consultant Videographer/Filmmaker (Migration Management) at IOM - UN Migration, among others.

He has also worked as a Videography Consultant for the SUNNY Project at Action Against Hunger, a Video Consultant at United Nations OCHA, a Communication Focal Person at YPARD, and a Social Media Consultant at United Purpose.

Furthermore, Nelson Owoicho has served as a Consultant Facilitator for the Four Pillars Plus Project at FHI 360, a Freelance Documentary Photographer at United Purpose, a Freelance Photography Consultant at UNICEF, and as a ONE Champion at The ONE Campaign.

Previously, he founded Education for Change, taught as a Teacher/Administrative Personnel at Will and Grace International School, managed Jigna Eco Farms, and worked as a Class Teacher at Unity School Ikire.
